Legal disclaimer
Please read this notice carefully. It governs your use of this website and the tools on it.
Last updated: June 2026. This notice should be read together with our terms of use, privacy notice and regulatory information.
1. No legal advice
The content of this website is provided for general information only. It is not legal advice and must not be relied on as if it were. The law of England and Wales changes over time, the information here may not be complete or up to date, and how the law applies depends on the particular facts of each case. You should always obtain specific professional advice before taking, or refraining from, any action.
2. No solicitor-client relationship
Reading this website, using its tools, or sending us an enquiry, an email or a callback request does not create a solicitor-client relationship. We act for you only once we have carried out our checks, confirmed we are able to act, agreed the scope of the work, and issued a written engagement (a client care letter). Until then, please do not send us confidential or sensitive information beyond what is needed to make an enquiry, and do not assume that any time limits affecting your matter are being protected.
3. Online calculators and tools
This website may offer tools such as a Stamp Duty (SDLT) calculator and a fee estimator. These are provided for general guidance only and produce estimates, not quotations or advice. They are based on assumptions and on rates and figures that change, and they cannot take account of your full circumstances.
- The Stamp Duty calculator covers standard residential cases in England and Northern Ireland only. It does not deal with every situation, including mixed-use property, purchases by companies, non-UK resident surcharges, multiple dwellings, or other reliefs and exemptions. Always confirm the tax payable with HM Revenue and Customs or with us. Different taxes apply in Scotland and Wales.
- The fee estimator shows indicative ranges only. It is not a quote and does not form a contract. Our fees attract VAT, and disbursements are charged in addition. We will give you a clear written estimate for your specific matter before you instruct us.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Noble Law Solicitors accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss arising from reliance on any tool, calculator or figure on this website.
4. Accuracy of information
We take reasonable care to ensure the information on this website is accurate at the time of publication, but we give no warranty, express or implied, that it is complete, accurate, current or fit for any particular purpose. We may change or remove content at any time without notice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data) arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, this website or any content or tool on it, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
Nothing in this notice excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Our professional obligations to clients we have agreed to act for are governed by our engagement terms and by the SRA Standards and Regulations, not by this website notice.
6. Links to other websites
This website may contain links to third-party websites. Those links are provided for convenience only and do not imply any endorsement. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, accuracy or availability of any third-party website.
7. Availability and security
We do not guarantee that this website will always be available or free from errors or viruses. You are responsible for your own arrangements to protect your devices and data. The internet is not a secure medium: please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through web forms or by unencrypted email, and be aware that we are required to carry out identity and anti-money-laundering checks before we can act.
